DPF Problems Ltd

    Terms & Conditions

    Last updated: 7/21/2026

    1. About these terms

These terms apply to quotations, bookings and diagnostic/repair services supplied by DPF Problems Ltd. By accepting a quote, making a booking, paying a deposit or authorising work, you agree that you accept these terms. Nothing in these terms removes your statutory consumer rights.

    2. Business details

    • Trading name: DPF Problems Ltd
    • Location: Blackburn, Lancashire
    • Telephone and WhatsApp: 07926 714116

    3. Services

Our services cover mobile DPF diagnostics, on-car DPF cleaning, forced regeneration, DPF fault solutions, AdBlue & SCR fault support, EGR fault support, and mobile pick-up and drop-off. Suitability depends on the vehicle, control unit, software version, mechanical condition and existing faults.

We focus on diagnosing the root cause. We do not guarantee that cleaning or regeneration will permanently resolve a blocked DPF if an underlying mechanical or sensor fault is not repaired.

    4. Quotations

Quotes depend on accurate vehicle information. "From" prices are starting prices. Quotes may change if vehicle details are incorrect or if additional faults are discovered during diagnostics. Additional work requires approval. A booking is not confirmed until accepted.

    5. Customer-provided information

You must disclose: Registration, Make and model, Engine and gearbox, Existing modifications, Warning lights, Known faults, Mechanical problems, and Intended use.

    6. Booking and deposits

Any deposit, cancellation, rearrangement or missed-appointment conditions will be explained to the customer before the booking is confirmed. Any agreed booking conditions will form part of the contract between the customer and DPF Problems Ltd. Nothing in these terms affects statutory consumer rights.

    7. Cancellations

Customers should give reasonable notice. Statutory cancellation rights may apply to qualifying distance or off-premises consumer contracts. If you expressly ask for work to begin during a statutory cancellation period, payment may be due for work already performed.

    8. Mobile appointments and access

Customers must provide: Lawful access, Safe working space, Correct location information, Vehicle keys, Permission to use the location, and Suitable weather protection or safe conditions where required. We may postpone work where weather, lighting, access, safety or other conditions make the appointment unsuitable.

    9. Vehicle condition

Tuning does not repair underlying mechanical, electrical or emissions faults. We may stop or refuse work where there are: Warning lights, Fault codes, Boost leaks, Cooling issues, Fuel-system issues, Clutch or gearbox problems, Electrical instability, Unsafe modifications, Previous unsuccessful tuning, or Other conditions making tuning unsuitable.

    10. Performance figures

Horsepower, torque, economy and drivability figures are estimates unless specifically measured and agreed. Results vary due to: Vehicle condition, Fuel, Engine and gearbox variation, Existing modifications, Software version, Environmental conditions, Manufacturer tolerances, Testing method, and Driving style. Future gains-calculator figures are estimates, not guaranteed outputs.

    11. ECU and TCU software

You authorise the reading, modification and writing of vehicle control-unit software required for the agreed service. Later dealer updates, manufacturer programming or third-party work may overwrite tuned software.

    12. Insurance, warranty and finance

Tuning may affect: Insurance, Manufacturer warranty, Dealer warranty, Finance agreements, Lease agreements, Breakdown cover, MOT status, and Emissions compliance. You are responsible for making required disclosures to insurers, finance providers and other relevant parties.

    13. Road legality and emissions

Customers are responsible for ensuring their vehicle remains legal for its intended use. Road vehicles must continue to comply with applicable Road traffic requirements, Construction and use rules, Emissions standards, Noise limits, Insurance requirements, and MOT requirements.

Some emissions, noise, limiter, overrun or motorsport options may not be lawful for public-road use and may only be suitable for legitimate off-road, competition, export, development or other non-road applications. We may refuse work where the intended use appears unlawful.

    14. Payment

The price, payment method and payment timing will be confirmed before work begins. Additional work will not be carried out without the customer’s agreement.

    15. Problems, rework and complaints

Customers should report concerns promptly and give DPF Problems Ltd a reasonable opportunity to inspect the vehicle and, where appropriate, investigate or correct the supplied service. This does not affect any statutory rights.

    16. Third-party changes

Later software updates, further tuning, third-party diagnostics, mechanical modifications, misuse, incorrect fuel or undisclosed faults may affect results and aftercare.

    17. Liability

Services will be supplied with reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or statutory consumer rights. We accept no liability for indirect or unforeseeable losses.

    18. Events outside reasonable control

We are not liable for delays caused by: Severe weather, Traffic, Illness, Equipment failure, Power or network outages, Supplier or file-server outages, or Other circumstances outside reasonable control.

    19. Website information

Website information is general. Prices and availability may change. Compatibility requires individual confirmation. Performance examples are estimates. Website content is not mechanical or legal advice.

Our original website, branding and written content are protected. Vehicle manufacturer names and trademarks belong to their owners and do not imply affiliation.
